12Dr. Decker & Delores Tapcott
 
 
For over twenty years Dr. Decker Tapscott has been igniting revival fire across the nation and around the world. His prophetic preaching and teaching transcends racial, generational, and denominational barriers.
 
Dr. Tapscott walks in the prophetic office and operates strongly in the prophetic gifts with evident signs and wonders. He has been a spiritual father to many and has assisted many pastors in developing strong visions for their local church. His vision is to see men and women, young and old, impacted by the life-changing power of the Word of God, so that the indwelling presence of God brings transformation necessary for Kingdom service.
 
Dr. Tapscott is the founder and senior pastor of Faith Christian Church and International Outreach Center- a fast growing multi-cultural church that lies on the outskirts of the town of Warrenton, Virginia. In addition, Dr. Tapscott has served on several boards of organizations and is currently the Chairman of Gospel Invasions World Wide. He is also a frequent guest speaker in conference gatherings, both in the U.S. and abroad.
 
In addition, Dr. Tapscott is the Founder and President of the Fellowship of Prophetic Churches and Ministries (FPCM); abd apostolic-prophetic equipping and sending ministry that provides support, encouragement, and mentoring to local pastors through biblical fathering. Futhermore, through spiritual coverings to pastors and local churches around the country.
 
Dr. Tapscott is a graduate of Logos Christian College and Graduate School, located in Jacksonville, Florida where he received his Doctorate in Ministry. He has written numerous books, including “Let Us Make Man” and “So Run”. His television broadcast, “The Word of Faith”, can be seen on The Word Network, as well as other local television outlets. Dr. Tapscott has six children and resides with his wife, Delores, in Warrenton, Virginia.
13Dr. William & Martha Sawyer
 
 
Rev. Dr. William Sawyer is the pastor of New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church of Hertford, North Carolina where he has been pastoring for 19 years. His birthplace is located in Camden, North Carolina. As one of the 14 children of the late Johnnie and Lillie Sawyer, Pastor Sawyer had an early call on his life as a youth to be a disiciple for Christ.
 
He is a graduate of Elizabeth City State University. After completeing his Master’s Degree in Divinity from Virginia Union University Samuel DeWitt Proctor School of Theology, Pastor Sawyer entered as a full time student in East Carolina Theological Institute located in Ronoake Rapids, North Carolina. Upon graduation, he received his earned doctorate degree.
 
As Pastor Sawyer walked in the scripture, II Timothy 2:15, “Study to show thyself approved unto God.”, he also walks in the scripture of the Great Commission; Matthew 28:19-20. “Go ye therefore and teach all nations: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever i have commanded you.”
 
When he is not in the pulpit delivering the Word of God, you can find Pastor Sawyer living in the Word of God as a servant. He serves as moderator of the Roanoke Missionary Baptist Association which is composed of 73 churches in the northeastern region of North Carolina. He is president of Camden County’s Board of Elections and he is a life-time member of the NAACP where he serves as vice-president of Camden County’s NAACP.
 
He is a member of Camden County’s Board of Education Strategic Planning Committee, and a member of North Carolina’s Selective Service Committee. He is also an offical NCAA basketball referee for NC Public Schools. During the school year not only will you find him referring basketball games, but you can find him at Camden Middle School at 7:30am on Wednesday mornings having prayer with the students for midweek prayer and spiritual reflections.
 
With the same zeal, committment, and devotion, Pastor Sawyer is a husband and father. He is married to Martha Bracey Sawyer, and they have three lovely daughters: Georgia Lucynda, who is a graduate of NC A&T University, Martha Jo who is a sophmore at NC A&T University, and Willette Marchette who is a sophmore at Camden High School.
