Out of the Box Child Care

5 Star Facility
Our Mission
The Out of the Box Childcare Center was established in 2010. It is a well-respected family service and early learning center located in the Chowan community. Our mission is to provide a safe learning environment for children to grow, develop, and learn. We partner with families to rear children that will be loving, happy, and eager to learn. We endeavor to provide an early learning educational experience that promotes each child’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development. Our highly qualified staff of early childhood educators is committed to providing a nurturing, first-class program that is developmentally based and age appropriate for all children. Our facility is a place designed to assist all children in blossoming into the responsible, considerate, and contributing members of society they are created to become.
Our Philosophy
Our belief is that as families entrust us with the most crucial years of their child’s life, we are compelled to take a very sincere and conscious effort to invest in their future by providing first-class care to the community. It is through these first-class experiences that we believe each child will thrive. With loving and caring staff that are sensitive to the needs of each child’s innate quest for knowledge, we have created for them a nurturing, God filled atmosphere where they can learn. Our goal is to assist families in preparing their children for a lifetime of fun, discovery, and exploration through hands-on activities to sculpturethe individual child. We encourage a parent-teacher approach where the needs of every child comes first in order to experience the benefits of excellent early
childhood education and school-age programs.
